The charming and authentic village setting, and renowned chefs behind the scenes are all components that ensure a successful wedding or celebration at the hotel. Owner Mathias Herlev Hansson has won the most prestigeous culinary competitions in the world with the Swedish Culinary Team, and head chef Erik Redemo has a background from Stockholm fine dining restaurant Oaxen. Together, they guarantee that the food is always of the highest quality and that you will have a dining experience beyond the ordinary.
A wedding at Fryksås is always tailored to your wishes. Some couples choose to hold the ceremony in our garden, while others arrive at the hotel for the reception and party.
We welcome both small gatherings with only close friends and grand celebrations with 100 guests or more.
A Celebration to Remember
The magnificent view from the hotel and the charming, romantic mountain pasture setting create a unique backdrop for your celebration. The possibility to stay overnight at the hotel and extend the festivities by one or two memorable days, along with all the activities in the nature surrounding Fryksås, are other pieces of the puzzle that help create an event to remember for a long time.
We will work with you to create an arrangement that meets your desires, so that you can fully enjoy the celebration and trust that we will bring the day to life just as we have planned together.
The Venue
Our dining room offers seating for up to 110 guests, but it can also be divided for a more intimate dinner. This means there’s plenty of room and possibilities, whether you want to gather just a few close ones, or invite a larger crowd to the celebration.
For parties with a maximum of 60 guests, where dancing is not required, it works perfectly to sit in our inner dining room. If you have more guests, want dancing, or need accommodations, you can book the hotel and enjoy exclusive access.
The Food
Our luxurious menus vary and are adjusted based on the season and the season's ingredients. You will therefore receive a current menu proposal with drink pairings (with or without alcohol) when you request a quote. Both food and drinks can be customized according to your wishes (and any allergies, etc.) in consultation with our head chef and sommelier.
We help you plan and get an overview of the costs in advance – all so that you can relax on the day itself, spend time with your guests, and enjoy an experience that lasts long after.
